Off The Clock

When I'm not working, you can usually find me riding my bike, hiking or backpacking, spending time with my family and friends, or renovating my 1927 home in Portland, Oregon.

A lifelong cyclist, this remains probably my most enduring passion. I can't remember a time when I didn't own a bicycle, and have always enjoyed spending time on two wheels. I am also a certified bike mechanic.

Over the last decade, I began doing more and more long distance cycling - solo, independent touring style rides covering hundreds of miles of the pacific northwest.
